As part of the expansion of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Refuge in Mount Calvary congregation to other dioceses, the sisters began their service on September 2, 2022, at Kallamkunn parish in the Diocese of Irinjalakuda, on a 15-cent plot of land generously donated by Rev. Fr. Joseph Pozholiparambil.
On May 18, 2024, in remembrance of the first house established by St. Mother Virginia, a new convent named “Parishuddharoopiyude Bhavanam” (House of the Holy Form) was inaugurated. Although the convent was primarily established to support the youth ministry known as “Device Park,” the sisters actively participate in all parish activities, including catechism, family gatherings, and various community programs.
The convent also plays a vital role in providing Postulancy training, the second stage of formation required for those entering the consecrated life.
