Formation Houses and Growth of Vocations

St. Joseph’s Convent, Cheroor: For twelve years new members received formation here.

Novitiate House : Saint Mother Virginia: With growing vocations, a novitiate house was established on 10 February 1987 at Mulayam (near Mannuthy), Diocese of Thrissur, dedicated to Saint Mother Virginia. This house provided deeper spiritual and canonical formation under respected spiritual masters who accompanied novices.

Maria Bhavan Convent (1990) : Founded on the instruction of Rev. Fr. Mathew Peramangalam, Maria Bhavan became a house of postulancy and a center for admitting mentally challenged women (age 20–50). It also operates a nursery school and strengthens parish life through catechesis and family ministry. Formation in India emphasized fidelity to the evangelical counsels, grounded spiritual life, pastoral competence, and a preferential love for the poor.
